Monthly Madness December 2023!

Hello!  I got the kit samples done a couple of days ago but like all of you, there is a lot on my plate with Christmas just a few days away.  But, I am glad to get the time to show you the cards for this month.  For the last four December's, I have done a Valentine theme but since I am stopping the monthly madness kits, I wanted to give you a set of cards that I know is always needed, so birthday theme it is.  I do want to say here, that even though I am stopping the consecutive month kits, does not mean I will not ever offer any kits.  We'll see how it goes, but I can see me doing an occasional kit.  And I always will be available if you need kits for any theme.  Just reach out to me.  People that do not understand the hobby, have said to me, so what are you going to do with all your supplies?  And I have to explain I am not giving up cards, papercrafts, etc., I am simply stopping every month of making 200 to 400 cards!  I love this hobby and I love the friendships I have made with everyone that have purchased my kits.  I am not giving up on either of those!  So, with that said, let me show you the last "official" kit samples ... enjoy!

As always, my first card is a special one.  This time it has a "viewmaster" element on the front of the card.  You turn a wheel, and the balloon changes colors.

The next one is a fun card that would be a great one for a man or a woman.

I know you are probably thinking that there are a lot of small pieces to adhere, don't worry I have got you covered, as I will be die cutting it with some double sided adhesive.

I got this paper a while back and every month I could not see how it could go with the stamps I was using, until now, it is perfect match for my stamp!

Remember that crazy card I made early in the year, with all those presents?  I decided to use that die again, but this time just doing one box (thank goodness, lol!)

My 5th card is friendship card, but it could be a birthday card, just write that in.  It is a stamp set I got on Black Friday and I decided it was too cute not to share!

And lastly is my bonus card, which is a birthday one for you.

And there you have it.  You might have noticed I am using some of the same papers I have used in past kits, and I am telling you this, because it means I will have a limited amount of kits to sell.  So, if you want to get a kit especially since it is the last one, or because it is a birthday kit, or just because you like it, be sure to let me know right away!  FYI, my plan is to get these in the mail by Jan 13th or earlier.  I know this will be fine since the birthday theme has no deadlines.

Thank you to each and everyone of you that were a part of My Monthly Madness for 5 years!
Happy Stamping!

Morning Madness November 2023!

Hello!  My second of two months of Christmas kit samples are ready to show!  I love how these came out!  Just a reminder that I am quitting my monthly card kit business at the end of the year, so you might consider that, to have extra kits for next year!  But, then again, who knows next year, I might pop in with a special kit at Christmas or some other time of the year.  My friend told me that she thinks I will miss it, and I am sure I will, except, I might not miss doing 300 cards each and every month!  I do want to note, in the five years of doing card kits, my shipping has never gone up from the original $5, now that is something!  I can't say that about any other business, lol!  Now, let's get to the cards ... enjoy!

First up, is my fun fold.  This month is a triple fold.  And then there is a 3D element you will create too...

To open the card, the middle section goes to the left, and then the bottom and the top goes to the right and this is the inside ...

Next, is my silly and cute card.  You know me, gotta have a least one of those!

And the inside finishes the sentence on the front ...

Back in September, I used a Photoplay stamp of a girl holding an apple basket.  I just loved her.  Well, I saw that same artist had drawn a Christmas set too and I could not resist ordering it.  There are several things that the girl can hold, I went with the candy canes to match the paper!

And the inside ...

This month I have two religious cards to add to the selection of cards.  First up, is a wisemen stamp which was quite a bit larger than I had anticipated when I saw it online.  I had to get creative with my card ...

As you can see, not much scrapbook paper on this one.  But, that die cut border is a glitter paper, so it makes it very pretty.  The inside is the favorite for us Wisemen who still seek Him.

I must have a nativity card every year, and this one is it.  For those of you that have been stamping a long time, you know that in the old days we had to emboss every image to able to color in without the ink bleeding, but with the invention of new ink pads this is no longer true.  So, I for one, have gotten away from embossing, but at Christmas, it just seems right.  When I ordered the nativity stamps, I was thinking of coloring them in just like I do most stamps, but the embossing was so pretty on the light pink pattern paper, I added no color.  Now, I am sure I will be cussing as embossing on every image, is a lot more work for me, lol!

I also can't believe I added poinsettia paper to a nativity stamp, but you know what?  It works, it really does, I love it!  The inside ...

And, my bonus card ...

There you have it, the November kit!  Remember, if you don't get consecutive kits, be sure to let me know right away that you want the kit.  I will have this kit in the mail to you by Dec the 2nd so that should give you time to get them made and sent.

Happy Stamping!

Morning Madness October 2023!

Hello!  Can you believe it is time for Christmas cards?  Yes, Christmas is the theme this month and next month too. I always do two months with the Christmas theme.  I think they are needed.  I love how this first set came out.   I hope you do too!  Now, before we get to me showing you the cards, I do have an announcement …

                                                                            ANNOUNCEMENT

I am planning to stop Tina’s Monthly Madness card kits at the end of the year.
I have made card kits for the past 5 years, making between 200 to 500 card kits a month, and I think I just need a little break!  But, I will always be glad to make card kits by special order, all you have to do is ask.  Or, who knows, I might jump back in sometime with a special card kit that you can purchase.  As stated above, October and November are Christmas themed, and then for December, I typically do Valentine's, but I have decided a better choice for you would be to do Birthday card kits in December. (which likely won't go out until January, because in December, I have to get my own Christmas cards made too)!  Also, look for a sale on past month's card kits, that I will sell individually at a great price!  Date for sale to be determined, but probably sometime in January.  I so appreciate your support of me and my card kit business all these years!

Now, on to the October samples …

First, up, is my creative fun fold card.  This is a called a Pop Up Z Fold Block Card!  Crazy name, and looks difficult, but so easy!  This first view is how it looks standing up....

This next view shows how it will look flattened to go in the envelope...

And, you know that all my cards always have a place to put a message, for this one it is on the backside …

I love (as you know) super cute, silly cards, this one is perfect …

Is that not too fun?  Oh, and wait until you read the inside sentiment!  It is the best...

Between October and November, I typically do two to three religious cards, so I looked thru all my Christmas stamps (we won’t  discuss how many I have, lol!) and I found this stamp that was a second image on a clear set that I know I have never inked up.  I really wanted to use it, but the papers I ordered didn’t really match, so I found a couple of papers in my stash, that even though are not perfect with the image, they do work.  The image is so sweet …

I love the sentiment that was on the same clear set, so perfect for the inside of the card…

I always like to do a “winter” card too.  This one is super cute …

Fun sentiment for the inside.  Then you could hand write in a greeting too, if you want.

Well, one of the papers I ordered, had cute reindeers on it, and I thought well, I know have reindeer images.  The stamp I decided on, I got last year but didn’t use it last year, so it needed to be inked!  When I decided to use an accent paper with the holly, the whole card really came together.

And the inside…

Last but not least, is my bonus card for this month.  For many years, I have put out a santa collection in my house, so it not too surprising, if I see a santa stamp, I must have it!  It so came together with this cute Santa paper!

The inside sentiment, I can just hear Santa saying just that!

So, there you have it, this month’s kit.  Don’t miss out!  Let me know right away, if you are interested!

 Happy Stamping!

Monthly Madness Sept. 2023!

Hello!  I know I am a bit late this month, but I think it is worth the wait.  I hope you do too!  This month's theme. is Halloween which is a favorite of mine with all the cute images and of course, fun puns!  No changes in the kits, still 10 card kits + bonus card made by me, for $35 ($30 + $5 shipping).  Let me show you the cards ... enjoy!

The first one took quite a while to figure out, taking an idea in my head to paper.  I played with the idea for more hours than I would like to admit, and several times I tried to talk myself out of it, and make some other kind of interactive card, but I just could not stop thinking about it.  I am glad I did not give it up, because it is a great card.  It is a surprise double slider card.

Front ...

I am not sure it shows up, but I embossed the cauldron with black and iridescent embossing powder.  Yes, I will be embossing yours for the kit.  But, there might be some fussy cutting in your future.  I can do this step for you, if you will let me know.  Now, do you see the tiny "pull"?  This is how it looks when you do that ...

Cauldron raises and witch comes out!  So fun!
I made this card open vertically.  Here is the inside ...

Next, one is very simple with not a lot of coloring.  I used this stamp set last year, but when I saw the cute paper, I had to stamp the set again!

Next, is also a stamp I have used before, but it has been a few years.  Love how this one came out!

One of the papers I ordered had all kinds of candy treats printed on it, so pairing that paper with a vampire?  Might be a surprise, but the sentiment ties it all together.

One note, the scallop border is a dark purple and his cape is gray with a light green sleeve to match the paper.  I could not get this to scan right on my printer.

Here is one, with no coloring, great for a quick card for you!

And lastly, my bonus card ...

And there you have it, Halloween card kit!  Since it is only 2 weeks before they will go in the mail, if you are one that does not already get a kit every month, make sure you tell me right away so you will not be left out!

Happy Stamping!
