Hello! I am happy to say I am back to working on my "love" cards! I love this holiday because all these cards can be used year around for birthdays or other occasions. But, because they have a theme, the cards are easy to create! So fun! Today's card is an idea I thought of as soon as I saw DeNami's new elephant stamp. All the cards I have seen made with it, they use the elephant for a baby card. But, I had another idea. The same convention that I bought the elephant stamp, I found the perfect sentiment at the Morning Star booth making my idea complete! This card is the result! I love it! Enjoy ...
So, do you love how my little elephant has a string tied around his trunk so you won't forget? I love how I can see stamps and immediately have a perfect idea! I love the colors of the card, the layout and the added flowers. I do want you to also notice how I pierced the white circle behind the elephant. I don't often do this because I am always afraid I will mess it up. But I think this time I did good! The hardest part I had was finding a darker pink color cardstock that would coordinate with the brown and lighter pink. But, once I picked this color, it all came together with the ribbon, the flowers, and the brads. So, I guess it was a good choice!
