Hello! Oh my goodness, I have the most adorable card to show you today. I just had to order this stamp when I saw it online! The paper I picked out that I wanted to use is from a 6 x 6 pad, so that limits the number of cards that I can make. I knew that 4 cards with this stamp, just would not be enough, so I got creative and figured out a sketch that would make the paper go farther! So, I actually have two cards to show you, same layout, different color combination. Let me show you and then I will talk about the card details. Enjoy!
The top one is the one I made first, and then I changed how I did things on the other ones, and so the second card reflects that and the color combination change. I will get to the changes in a minute, but first I want to say by using the smaller panels and the red/green panels, I was able to make 12 cards ... now I must tell you, I have two of these 6 x 6 pads, as I used them in a class back in October and I bought two to make my class kits work. Thank goodness I had 2 pads, because it makes a perfect card for her. After I had colored and assembled the card, I was not sure on what I wanted to use to "bling" her up. I went to my source for all things "bling", my friend Eileen! Her suggestions were to add glossy accents to the bulbs and add silver glitter to the bulb tops! The "bling queen" rules ... she was right! It totally made the card pop! Here is a close-up ...
