Birthday Wishes!

Hello!  There were a few items that were a must to look for at the scrapbook convention that I went to a few weeks ago.  One of the items was a set of Spellbinders flower dies, as I had seen a couple of cute cards made with them.  One of the cards I pinned, go here to see it.  I usually don't do flowers that add to much thickness to the card, but I couldn't resist trying this one out.  Here is my card ... enjoy!

I cut out three and put a glue dot to hold them together and really scrunched them up.  I then cut the die again in the green and cut a little stem part for the one flower.  I like how this came out.  Scrunched flowers and all!  What do you think?

Paper - My Minds Eye A Mother's Love 6 x6 pad (another scrapbook convention find!), Cardstock White, Dark Aqua
Stamps - Verve Birthday Bash set
Ink - Memento Black
Tools - Lifestyle Crafts Tab die, Spellbinders Asters & Poppies D-Lites
Other - Fancy Rhinestones by Queen & Co. (these were clear, made them match with a Copic marker!)

I made another card with the other die in the set.  I will be back tomorrow to show you that one.
Happy Stamping!
Tina

  1. I can certainly see why you went searching for these dies! I'm a true sucker for florals ... shhhhhh! Now you're making me "need" to add more to my wish list!
So sorry to have missed you at GASC though.

    Happy Weekend!
