First, I want to say how much I enjoyed being part of the DeNami Blog Hop on Sunday. It was also alot of fun to go hop around at all the blogs to see all the wonderful creations! Today, is the 3rd Tuesday of the month, so that means it is a Texas Tues-Step day. I went back through my blog posts to see how long I have been participating and making Texas themed cards. I found out my first Texas card was created on May 18th. That means for twice a month for the past six months I have been doing Texas cards! Wow! How fun! Well, for the first time, I did not use any Deadbeat Designs stamps on my card. There is no rule that I have to use Deadbeat Designs. I just usually do because he is on the Texas Tues-Step team and also most of my Texas designs happen to be his designs. But, this time I went with an idea I saw on one of the blogs. They added some twine to look like rope to My Favorite Things cowgirl stamp. Here is my card ... enjoy!
I really like how my card came out. What do you think? I have to say I just loved getting all the comments with Sunday's blog hop. Comments totally make the bloggers day, so make sure you take the opportunity to go to the other Texas Tues-Step team's blogs and see what Texas creations they have for you today. And leave comments! You can find the list on the right side of my blog!

The goal for the week is to make the last of the Thanksgiving cards I have in my head and to finish the inside of any that I have made for the blog but left the inside blank (what was I thinking?). So, you will see me again this week, but maybe not tomorrow. We'll see how it goes!
Happy Stamping!

ReplyDeleteLOVE how this turned out - SO CUTE!! The pink & brown is great, and love how you did the rope. And WOW, May 18. You've been a much better Texas Tues-stepper than I have!! Hopefully I will be better about getting cards done going forward. :-)
