Monthly Madness July 2021!

Hello!  Don't freak out, I know I am early with my samples!  Truthfully, they got made a couple of weeks ago because I am doing a booth at a stamp convention the last weekend in July.  I am teaching a couple of classes with the June and July kits so I had to get them done to promote my class.  But, beyond that, I knew I could not think about them until the June kits were made and in the mail.  That happened last weekend so now I thought I should show you July!  I love summer image stamps so that is the theme but I did combine the summer images with all occasions, like birthday, thinking of you, get well, friendship, etc.  I love them all, and I hope you do too!  Enjoy!

Wait, I should give you the kit details, just in case, you are not familiar ... you get 2 of 5 designs, plus a bonus card made by me, ready to send.  And of course, it includes complete instructions, and color copies of each finished card.  Cost is $35. ($30 + $5 shipping).

Card #1 is my fun fold of the month!  It is a Peek-a-Boo card!  It is one that I have not made before, but I love it!

From the front, you see a circle opening with a ice cream cone, but then,,,

When it gets opened, instead of a ice cream cone in the circle, there is a sentiment -Peek-a-Boo!

What is summer without flip flops?  I had to do it, especially when you find cute paper!

Here is the inside, which makes for a perfect thinking of you card, or you could even write in Happy Birthday!
Looking for summer papers and all, I came across this set of seal stamps, cuteness overload.  I had to order them, sealiously!!

Since I used a die to create the water instead of designer paper, I decided to add another seal stamp on the inside panel...

Summer picnics and ants make for a perfect friendship card ...

I had in my mind to do a summer daisy card, but then I saw this floral stamp with daisies and thought perfect!

I decided to leave this card blank on the inside because it will work for a couple of different occasions like thinking of you or get well.  And it might even be okay to make it a birthday card.  If you need me to stamp a specific sentiment inside, just let me know, and I can do that!

And then there is the bonus card.  The paper reminded me of a pool, so I was glad to be able to ink up this Pure Innocence girl that I bought a year or so ago and have never used! lol!

Another one I left blank, so that you can add what you want! It will definitely work for most all occasions!

Those are the July cards.  I am making more than usual but that doesn't mean you should not let me know you want one, especially if you are one that picks and chooses the months you want.  And if you are local, and are planning to attend the Heirloom Stamp Convention in Grapevine, let me know, and I will bring your kit and you can save on shipping. Plus, I would love to see you!

Happy Stamping!

Monthly Madness June 2021

Hello!  June samples are done and they are pretty awesome.  I can't wait to show you.  On my Facebook page, I asked the ladies if anyone needs anything special as this month and next are the last two before we get into Fall, Halloween, and Christmas.  I tried to listen to everyone who voiced their answers.  So, this month there is a variety of cards for many occasions.  Next month cards will be summer themed, which is one of my favorites and they also work well for several occasions.  You'll be seeing those samples real soon, but for now, let's talk about June.  Here are the cards... enjoy!

One quick push to sell (lol!), just a reminder, each kit includes 2 of the 5 designs plus, a bonus card made by me.  11 cards for $35 ($30 + $5 shipping).  It is a deal!

The first card I made for the occasion of new home, however, on the backside of the inside sentiment panel, I will also stamp "Thinking of You" so you have a choice.  I have made center step cards before, but this one has an added twist.  It has an easel built in.  Looking for ideas, I saw this type card and thought, oh, that might be too much prepping for me, but you know I decided I will make it and then decide.  Wow, once it was done, and I saw how adorable it is, I knew it had to go in the kit. (even though I will be regretting it later, lol!)

Here it is opened...

The next photo shows how it will look when you take it out of the envelope so it fits in a regular A2 size envelope ...

One of the ladies asked for a thank you card, well, you know me, I want to do a cutesy one ... hence the mexican cow!  I see one of the rhinestones came off in the corner, there should be three!

Here is the inside ...

Next card is fun and the panel inside gives you a choice of occasions ...

Here is the thinking of you choice and below that is the backside of the same panel stamped with a birthday sentiment!

As you know, my favorite kind of cards are where the designer paper matches the stamps!  This card  is a perfect example.  Aren't these dog stamps adorable?

And the inside ...

Sympathy card kits are always great to have when needed.  As I was making this card, I thought, it would really be a pretty get well card too, so you will get two sentiment die cuts that you can pick from for the front of the card.

I decided to leave the inside blank, since it will depend on which occasion and situation on what you will want for the inside.

And last but not least, my bonus card!

If you don't get the monthly kits every month, make sure you let me know that you want this one! Don't miss out!

Morning Madness May 2021

Hello!  May is always the month that I do cards "for the boys"!  This theme seems to be the hardest, especially since I don't want to use the same stamps and dies that I used the last couple of years.  I think I did pretty good.  But before I get to the cards, I must remind you that in the kit you will receive 2 each of 5 designs and one bonus card made by me ready for you to send. The cost is $35 ($30 + $5 shipping).  The shipping seems to inch up a little more every month, but so far it hasn't gone up higher than $5.  I hope it doesn't, because I really don't want you to have to pay more.  Enough complaining about postal rates (lol!), let's get to the cards ... enjoy!

My first card is a stamp that everyone that has been around my classes has seen me use before.  When I looked on this blog for ideas, I saw that I used him in 2010!  But he is so cute ... how could I resist using him again?!

Just like I did last month for Mother's Day, I will be stamping a Happy Birthday on the backside of the cards that are stamped Happy Father's Day, so you have a choice...

I love the tool box ideas when it comes to men's cards.  A couple of years ago I did a shaped card front like a tool box, but this year, we have a card in a box.  It is a little bit different sizing than the card in a boxes we typically do, as it is a very thin box to make it look like the real thing!  I even used real wire to hang the sign!  I went with the "dad" sentiment because it seemed to go so well with the box.  It doesn't have to be given to your dad, just someone who is a dad!

I added a panel on the backside so you can add your words.  Of course, it folds flat to add to your envelope!

Gotta love the cards that make you smile, like this one ...

Next, is a nice outdoorsy, fishing type card perfect for the occasion...

This next one could be given to a man, or I thought it would also be great for a boy or teenage boy.  Just like cards for men, these can be hard to come up with ideas for ... you will be ready with this one ...

Because I wasn't sure who the recipient would be for this one, I just went with the general inside sentiment and you can add in Happy.... whatever.

For my bonus card, I went with this fun bowling guy!  Love his expression!

I left the inside panel blank, since I will be making the card for you.

If you are not one that gets the kits on a regular basis, be sure to let me know that you want this month's kit!  You will need this set to have on hand for when you need them, or for Father's Day coming up.

Happy Stamping!

Morning Madness April 2021!

Hello!  I got my April samples done!  This month we have 2 cards that would be perfect for mom's on their special day or could also be pretty birthday cards, then, I have some of the other occasions covered for you like graduation, baby, and wedding!  The graduation card could also be a birthday card with a small adjustment if a grad card is not needed.  I can't wait to show you, but first, a reminder of what you get in the kit.  You get 2 each of 5 designs + a bonus card made by me. All of this for $35 ($30 + $5 shipping).  Kits will go out on the 1st but if you need to mail the cards for Mother's Day, I will help you by getting just these 4 to you by mailing them in a week.  You will have to send me an extra $3 though, as I can't really get around that shipping!  I wish the shipping was getting cheaper, instead of just going up, but can't fix it!)  Okay, now on to this month's cards ...

First, is what is called an Upright Z Fold.  I had pretty coordinating papers and I had a stamped image that was fairly large, so to showcase both, I found a fun fold!  It is super easy to make.

This is how it looks when it is fully opened.  The sentiment is for Mother's Day, but if you don't need that type of card, you can flip the panel over for a Happy Birthday sentiment I will have stamped for you on the reverse side.

It stands alone like an easel card...

This shows a side view...

Usually, you get one special fold card from me each month, but this month you get two!  I have been thinking about a flower pot card for a while.  I had not made one in about 8 years!  I think the last one I made, I had to put it in a larger size envelope.  This one is made to fit perfectly in an A2 size!  I love how it came out ...

It is a pocket card and the flower panel just pulls out.  Again, like the last card, a Happy Birthday will be stamped on the reverse side of white panel. (if you need it as an option).

I even decided to make the backside somewhat finished ...

The next card is for graduation, however if you don't add the hat or scroll, it could easily be for  another occasion.  On the reverse side of the panel, I think I have a birthday sentiment, something about older and wiser!  But, you know what, it could also be a great guy card!  I found that I have about 5 or 6 sets of owl stamps with varied sentiments, so if you need something different, I probably can help you out!  Lpl!

Now, to the one of the ones that probably can't be changed from what it is now ... a baby card!  It is very simple, but so adorable!

And the wedding card ... this one was fun because I got to combine two different stamp sets!

And last but not least, my bonus card!  Since this month, a couple of the cards are made with mothers in mine, I wanted to do a card in pinks, with roses to honor my mother, Dorothy!  She died at 97, 8 years ago, but I know if she was here, she would love this card!

I decided to leave the inside blank, because it would be perfect for so many occasions.  You can just write in what you need before you give it!

I hope you like this month's cards.  If you don't get my kits on a regular basis, make sure you let me know you want this month's kit.  And if you need me to send the Mother's Day cards quicker, I must know that!

Happy Stamping!
