Monthly Madness August 2023!

Hello!  I am back with another share of samples for the August card kits.  This month begins our holiday themed cards and kicking it off with Fall cards.  Just like I have done in past seasons, like spring and summer, all cards have Fall images.  But, any card could be made and sent for any occasion.  Just write in  your appropriate sentiment. Now here in Texas, we are having days upon days of 100 degree weather and it is hard to think of lovely fall weather, but hopefully this set of pretty cards will at least get you in the mood and help you to have cards to send to special ones when it does get cooler!  Lol!  Enjoy!

The first card is my fun fold.  This time it is a flap card and super simple, no special instructions needed.
Card closed ...

And then when the flap is open to the right, this is the next view ...

And then fully opened, you will see the inside ...

I combined a beautiful sunflower stamp with beautiful sunflower paper ...

I have to say that I am really proud of my coloring on this card.  In person, it is brighter.

Next, is a lovely fall girl (love this stamp!) ...

Gotta have some pumpkins ...

And then there are pretty leaves ...

And last but not least, is my bonus card...

Remember, you get two each of the five designs, plus one bonus card made by me, ready to send. Cost is $35 ($30 +$5 shipping).  By the way, I have never increased the shipping amount.  Everywhere else has sky rocketed, but I want to keep making my kits affordable.  If you do not get consecutive months, be sure to let me know you are interested in this month's kit.  Don't miss out on this great kit!

Monthly Madness July 2023!

Hello!  Yes, I know I am a few days late and I really have no excuses!  Lol!  Maybe it was worth the wait, because I love every card this month!  Actually, this is true for every month, because I am not satisfied until I love each card, but that is beside the point.  I love the July cards because I like to use summer images, with all occasions.  When you live in Texas, you think of summer first, I guess that is why the summer images really put a smile on my face, something has to, as hot as it has been!  Right?  Okay, post office (I know because I work there) just keeps going up for shipping.  But I am not changing any fees, it is all the same: 2 each of 5 designs + bonus card made by me for $35 ($30 + $5 shipping).  Let's get to the cards, that will make you smile too!....

As always, the first card is the fun fold.  This one is super simple to make.  It is a double flap card.  Months ago, when Reverse Confetti closed up, I got this super cute set of summer dogs, that I knew would be perfect come July!  But, I couldn't decide which image was the cutest, so I found a card that I could use all three!

Front...

Lift top fold up to see ...

Then lift middle section up to see ...

Next, a sweet thank you card ...

You know how I love designer paper to match the stamped image, well, when I saw the next card's paper, I went hunting for the stamp that I had that would be a perfect match!

The backside of the paper that had the waves on it, had these fish.  It was too cute to not use.  I have tons of images for under the sea, but I just couldn't resist using this sweet mermaid again.

Then what's summer without flowers, even though this 100 degree weather is not helping, so that is why we make cards!  I am using a bouquet that I have use before but I thought it matched the style of the paper, so I went with it!

And last but not least, is the bonus card.  Again, paper matches my stamps.  But, I was kinda on the fence about the card, until I found the perfect sentiment for the inside!  You know I love mw some puns!

That's it for this month.  Next month we start holidays, Halloween in August, then fall, then Christmas.  This month has many opportunities for birthday, thank you, friendship and more, so don't miss out!  If you don't get consecutive months, be sure to let me know right away that you want a kit1

Monthly Madness June 2023!

Hello!  I am a about a week late in getting these samples done, and that is because my dog had another stroke and I had to put her down last week.  I am never able to create when I am sad.  So, I put off creating until I knew I could handle it.  We rescued each other 8 years ago, and have been joined at the hip ever since.  I really miss her.  But, life goes on!  This month is a miscellaneous theme of card kits.  I had not done a baby or wedding card kit in two years, so I decided to do one of each.  I figure it would be nice to have these on hand for when the occasion arises.  I also did a couple of birthday cards and a friendship one. Nice variety, I think.  Excited to show you, so let's get to it... enjoy!

First up, is a fun fold birthday card.  They call this one a Flying Seagull card.  Such a weird name, but it is called that because of the way it looks with all the folds.  Looks hard to make, but super simple. First photo is how it will look folded coming out of the envelope ...

Next photo shows how it looks like on display.  You can add your sentiment on a panel behind the square panel in front.

The baby card ...

Colors are a nice pastel lime and yellow, but you could color them pink or blue if you knew what they were having.

Wedding card is next.  Funny thing I bought some wedding designer paper that I thought I was going to use but after I got my cake colored it did not go with the paper.  So, went to my paper stash, and made it work with some "non-wedding" paper.  Love it now.

Here is a close up of the cake.  So pretty ...

Now, for some fun cards.  First, a friendship card ...

A fun birthday card ...

And last but not least, my bonus card ...

That is it for the month.  Remember you get 2 of the 5 designs plus the bonus card made by me, all for $35 ($30 + $5 shipping).  I have two weeks to get them ready to send to you, so I will be starting right away, so be sure to let me know you want a kit if you don't get consecutive months.

Next month theme will be all occasion with summer images, one of my favorite months!  And then we go to the holidays!

Monthly Madness May 2023!

Hello!  First off, I want to wish everyone a Happy Mother's Day!  I am glad that my May card kit samples are ready to show.  The theme for this month is For the Boys!  This is always by far the hardest month to come up with good ideas for.  I think it does not seem as daunting when I need a card for a man because usually I know him and can base the card on what he like's or if he is a serious person or likes cuter cards, etc.  But, when I make the samples, I need to have them be a little more generic which makes it lot more difficult.  But, I love how they came out and I hope you do too!  There is only one in the set that mentions "dad" but I did find some Happy Father's Day sentiment stamps so if you need me to add something, don't hesitate to ask.  Also, if one just dosen't work for you, I will always try to accommodate substitutions.  Okay, let's get to it ... enjoy!

First up, is a birthday card and it uses some dies that I have used quite often but I am pretty sure I never have made it a card for the kits until now ...

And when the tab is pulled at the top ...

Next one is stamps and papers I got at scrapbook convention last year.  I have used a similar stamp on a guy card before but I also think it would be a good one for a younger guy too...

The inside of this one I left blank, so it could be for a few occasions.

Okay, I have used this set of stamps before of the tools, and this one has that sentiment with "dad" but I don't think it needs to be your dad, but could be for anyone that is a dad, but it does not work for you, I can type something up on the computer as a substitute.  The inside sentiment is computer generated, but too fun!

I think I used the stamp on the next one on a retirement card a few years ago, but perfect for a guy card too!

I love this next one.  There are so many cute gnome stamps, but this set will always be a favorite of mine.  I know it is older because the dies are not open in the middle.  I don't think I have ever used it on a kit card, so it is time!  He makes me smile!

And last but not least, my bonus card ...

That wraps up the For the Boys kit!  If you are interested, please let me know right away, as I will start cutting paper tomorrow!

Happy Stamping!
