Monthly Madness August 2020

Hello!  August samples are done!  I am way late!  I ordered paper and product week before last and when the order came, part of my order was there, but most of it was someone else's order, so I had to wait some more!  So the last two days I have been working hard to get them done  I had posted on my Facebook group the question of whether they would like Fall or Halloween in August.  The ones that responded, said Fall/Thanksgiving this month and Halloween in September so that is what you are getting.  I opted to not do any crazy fancy folds this month, since this month is getting away from me. Even so, the cards, I think, are great and I love how they turned out.  I hope you do too.  Enjoy!

Before I show you the cards, just a reminder, the kits are $35 that is $30 + $5 shipping.  And that amount is the same for any month that you want a kit.  You get 2 each of the 5 designs plus, you get the bonus card made by me.  If you want me to make them for you, I will do that for $45.

I made all the cards with fall sentiments but all of them would be perfect to send at Thanksgiving.  Just write it when you sign it.

Morning Madness July 2020!

Hello!  My July card samples are done!  This is the last month before we start the holiday kits, so I asked on my FB page what does anyone need?  Basically, most said more of the same like thinking of you, birthday, get well.  And one said gift tags.  I aim to please.  We have a little of each and a summer one thrown in the mix.  I love all of them this month.  I hope you do too!  Enjoy!

First, up is a face mask card!  The card shown is a photo as opposed to a scan so you can kinda see that it looks like a real face mask.  One note, you might see the ribbon looks like it is coming apart, well mine is, but yours will be good ribbon. In all the ribbon I have, I did not have 1/8" white satin, but I have some coming!

I just love this card.  So unique.  And the words totally make it.  This one could be a thinking of you or get well.  

Next, up is a pretty floral card.  I was going to stamp a get well sentiment on the front, but decided thinking of you was better, so you could have a choice.  Could also be a birthday card.   

I couldn't resist throwing in a fun summer card!  

Gotta have a fun birthday card, this one sure fits that bill!

One more thinking of you, but again could be a birthday or get well card.  

When I decided I was going to do gift cards in lieu of a bonus card, I thought I think I will make 3.  Oh my goodness, I forgot that a gift card is basically a card in a smaller version.  I am sure that when I get to making them, I am going to wish I opted to do one or two instead of three!

Next, a circle gift card.  I wanted to make this into a shaker card, but talked myself out of that!

Monthly Madness June 2020!

Hello!  I am back with another month of card kit samples.  I mentioned on my Facebook page that last June's kit had wedding, baby, retirement, and new home.  And the ladies said that they needed those again, so that is what I did.  I also added in a birthday one, because it is always needed.  Excited to show you the cards.  Remember each kit has 2 of the 5 designs plus a bonus card, made by me, ready to send, and the cost is $35 which is $30 + $5 shipping.  Let me show the cards ...enjoy!

The first card is wedding and it has a double pocket on the inside.  Perfect, because for weddings, the gifts are often cash, or gift card, or maybe you need space to write in what you got from their registry.

 It is hard to see on the screen but the base is that pretty white shimmer cardstock.  This card is super easy to recreate.  I will share the easy measurements.

Next, is this most adorable onesie ...

 Next, is a new home card.  Knowing that you might not need two new home theme cards, I am also giving you a sentiment that you can use instead that says "You're Toadally Awesome!"

I left the inside blank so you can use it for any occasion, if needed.

I did a perfect sentiment on the computer for the inside ...

 Now, I thought of the fact that you might be giving a retirement card to a man or lady that doesn't have a partner, so in that case, you could just use circle and design it like this ...

 I also went with birthday for the bonus card.  I have ordered some scratch off stickers you can add to the snail shell and then the recipient will scratch off to see the words.  I love punny sayings!

Monthly Madness May 2020!

Hello!  In May, I always do cards for men so that if anyone needs Father's Day cards, they will have them and if not, they can always be used for birthdays or other occasions.  Men cards are the hardest to make.  One reason is that you don't have as many choices of stamps or even papers.  I ran into this issue.  I like to have papers that really match the stamps I am using.  In the end, it looks like there was no problem at all, but that was not the case as I was trying to create them.  This month I went with straight cards, not fun folds.  Men, you know, don't always get it...lol!  I really do love all of them, and I hope you do too!  Enjoy!

 The paper is actually much more blue than green, but sometimes scans don't reflect correctly.

My favorite... And no not every man owns a tractor but I think every man would secretly like to own a tractor!  LOL!

 Inside panel will get added horizontally.  Forgot to flip the photo for this blog.

In my stash I found this paper with cassette tapes on it, so perfect to match a Taylored Expressions stamp set.  What is cool about the cassette tape image is that you can write in a personalized message.

I have been wanting to do a Facebook Live and thought last month's grad card would be the perfect card to show you how to make it live.  But, I found I didn't have everything I needed to video it.
