Hello! Yes, I know I am a few days late and I really have no excuses! Lol! Maybe it was worth the wait, because I love every card this month! Actually, this is true for every month, because I am not satisfied until I love each card, but that is beside the point. I love the July cards because I like to use summer images, with all occasions. When you live in Texas, you think of summer first, I guess that is why the summer images really put a smile on my face, something has to, as hot as it has been! Right? Okay, post office (I know because I work there) just keeps going up for shipping. But I am not changing any fees, it is all the same: 2 each of 5 designs + bonus card made by me for $35 ($30 + $5 shipping). Let's get to the cards, that will make you smile too!....
As always, the first card is the fun fold. This one is super simple to make. It is a double flap card. Months ago, when Reverse Confetti closed up, I got this super cute set of summer dogs, that I knew would be perfect come July! But, I couldn't decide which image was the cutest, so I found a card that I could use all three!
Front...
Lift top fold up to see ...
Next, a sweet thank you card ...
You know how I love designer paper to match the stamped image, well, when I saw the next card's paper, I went hunting for the stamp that I had that would be a perfect match!
The backside of the paper that had the waves on it, had these fish. It was too cute to not use. I have tons of images for under the sea, but I just couldn't resist using this sweet mermaid again.
Then what's summer without flowers, even though this 100 degree weather is not helping, so that is why we make cards! I am using a bouquet that I have use before but I thought it matched the style of the paper, so I went with it!
And last but not least, is the bonus card. Again, paper matches my stamps. But, I was kinda on the fence about the card, until I found the perfect sentiment for the inside! You know I love mw some puns!
That's it for this month. Next month we start holidays, Halloween in August, then fall, then Christmas. This month has many opportunities for birthday, thank you, friendship and more, so don't miss out! If you don't get consecutive months, be sure to let me know right away that you want a kit1
Happy Stamping!
Tina
