Hello! I am back today with the card I made for my stepdaughter for her birthday. My first thought for her card was to use my MFT bunny stamp holding the cake, but I realized by looking back at a blog post from a year ago, that I already made her a card with that stamp! Glad I remembered. So, I decided to go with one of the MFT girls instead. No, I am sure, you are not surprised, as they seem to be just about my favorite cards to make! Here is my card. Enjoy!
I have used the sentiment on other cards with birds, but since this Pure Innocence girl has a little birdie on her shoulder, I decided to add it to the front of this card. It reads "Hope your birthday is tweet from sun up to sun down!" Love that sentiment!
Recipe:
Paper - My Minds Eye Lime Twist Happy Go Lucky 6 x 6 pad, Cardstock Dark Wine
Stamps - My Favorite Things Pure Innocence Girl, Sentiment by Endless Creations
Ink - Memento, Prismacolor Pencils, Gamsol, Copic for Skin
Tools - My Favorite Things Scallop Ribbon Border and Upsy Daisy Die-namics
Other - Flower Rhinestones by K & Co., Circle Rhinestones by Queen & Co.
I am busy in my room working on class samples for my October class at The Crafty Scrapper. Hero Arts has teamed up with Sizzix to come up with some new products of stamps with matching dies, and stamps with matching embossing folders. So, I am working with the new stuff for my next class. Oh, how I love new stuff! If I finish my samples early, maybe I can get another card made to show you, if not, I will see you on Saturday for the weekly share!
Happy Stamping!
Tina
