Have a Bluebonnet Day!

Hello! Welcome to another Texas Tues-Step! As you know, I am part of a team who brings to you Texas themed cards every 1st and 3rd Tuesdays. For your convenience, I have added on the right side of my blog a list with links for the Texas team. Just click on their names and it will take you straight to their blogs. Hopefully, they will all participate this week!

I have one more list I have added for your convenience to tell you about. If you will scroll down on the right, you will see, I have added a blog archive so you can easily locate my previous entries first by month and next by title. Many times I make a card similar to one I have made before and I refer to a previous post. This should help you find the one I am referring to. I will be doing that today!

Now for today's Texas card. Let me show you the card and then I will give you the details.

I used a technique that I first did in a May post titled Two Cards and a New Technique. If you want to go to the blog where I found the actual tutorial, click on Black Magic with a White Twist. The main difference for today's card is it is not black! I went with a dark blue instead, but it worked just the same! Basically, you stamp with white, then color with a very light color, in this case, I used a very light shade of blue, and then went back over highlighting with a brighter shade of blue. I took it one step further and went over it with an even darker shade of blue. And then the same process for the leaves. The twist that the creator came up with is to add the white pen accents to make it pop! I then added coordinating papers, and embellishments, making it a card I absolutely love!

Recipe:

Paper - Olive with Diamonds by My Minds Eye Just Dreamy 2 line, Blue Check by BoBunny Back to Basics line, Cardstock White, Navy, Olive

Happy Stamping!
Tina
