Hello! The Crafty Scrapper is doing an event on their blog called 12 Tags of Christmas, and each day one person shows their handmade tag. Today is my day! Before I get to my tag, I want to tell you that every day there is a give-away. They are picking from comments left on their Facebook page, so go there right now and leave a comment and maybe you will be the lucky winner!
As you know, I like fun folds, pop-ups, etc. and my tag is no exception. I combinined papers and a sentiment embellishment from the Kaisercraft pad called Holy Night, to make a hanging matchbook tag. A BasicGrey magnet holds it closed.

When it is opened, magic happens ...
The stand up tree die set from Elizabeth Crafts pops up and you are "wowed"! Here is a close-up view of that fabulous pop-up tree.
Below is a printed how-to for making the tree. I figure their photos would be better than mine! I have now made quite a number of these trees, between teaching it in November, making more cards to send, my ornament I showed you yesterday, and now this tag, so with all this practice, it is easy peasy! The die set itself can be seen here.
For my tag, I left off the star topper and I used dot stickers from both Elizabeth Crafts and Stampedous for tree ornaments. My tag measures 3 1/2" x 9 inches and is scored at 3/4" and 5".
I will be back tomorrow to show you another Christmas card I am sending!
Happy Stamping!
