I Can Do All Things ...!

Hello! Saturday morning I was getting caught up on my blog reading from various ones that I get ideas from, and I came across a challenge that Verve Stamps has going right now and thought, perfect ... I can participate and enter my cards into the challenge, have cards to show you, and have cards to take to the gift shop to sell. A win, win! I have several Verve sets, all of which I love, but they haven't been inked lately, another great reason. It seems that Verve is doing a new release this coming Friday, but up until then, they are showing sneek peeks and also have several different challenges going on. The first is called Verve Customer Card Carnival and it requires a new card creation featuring Verve stamps! The second challenge, the Anni-VERVE-sary release challenge is a 5 part challenge, requiring you to create different type cards, including a color challenge, a sketch challenge, a card challenge using certain elements, a clean and simple card, and anything other than a card. The best part is all the cards that I made for the second challenge can also be entered into the first challenge, because every card, I used Verve stamps on! So, every day this week, I will have one of the five part challenge cards to show you! Yipee! So, let's get to today's Verve challenge card. Enjoy!

The challenge for this one was ..............

Do you love the sketch?  Guess what?  I am also completing Jen delMuro's Sketch For You to Try for this month.  Here is the sketch ...

Hey, when I went to copy the sketch to add add it here, I noticed that this sketch this month is sponsored by Verve ... how cool is that, since I used Verve stamps and a Verve color challenge to make my card!  I love everything about my card ... the colors (well, of course, since "duh" they are MY colors), the sketch and the stamp I used!  How about you?  What do you think?

Recipe:

Paper - Echo Park Bundle of Joy Line (yes, this paper I found in the baby section at the scrapbook store ... I liked the colors ... and how perfect it ended up being for this challenge!) "Stripe" and "Journaling", Bo Bunny Double Dot from Bold & Bright 6 x6 pad, Cardstock Two Pinks, Dark Brown
Stamps - Verve stamp -
Philippians 4:13 Plain Jane
Ink - Memento Black
Tools - Spellbinders Decorative Rectangles, Circles
Other - Rhinestones

See you tomorrow with my card for challenge number 2!
Happy Stamping!
Tina
