Hello! I am back today to show you the second of the three Easter cards I made to send. Today's card is a fun one. I just can't keep my hands off of the Verve set of chickies and sayings I recently got. So cute. Let's get right to it. Here is my card ... enjoy!
One of the reasons why I went with this sketch was I wanted to use that cute chick paper which I had already used for a previous card here, but I only had one 12 x 12 and now not a whole sheet. I thought there was enough left to made seven cards ... not! I could only make the chick paper go as far as five cards. So, I had to go with another design for the last two. Here is that one ... I don't like this one layout as much. But, what's a girl to do? I already had the chick and basket colored and cut out ready to use, so this is what I came up with.
Recipe:
Paper - American Crafts Spring Line, Cardstock White, Pale Yellow, Coral Pink
Stamps - Verve set Chicks Rule
Ink - Versafine Black, Prismacolor Pencils, Gamsol
Tools - Classic Ovals Nestibilities, Marvy Corner Rounder, Cuttlebug Seeing Spots embossing folder
Other - Rhinestones, Button, Twine by The Twinery, Linen Thread by The Cat's Pajamas (When adding buttons, I still like using the linen thread instead of the twine. Easier to thread thru the holes!)
I will have one more chickie card for you tomorrow. So be sure to come back by! And I have one quote to leave you with today ... " Easter is the only time when it's a good idea to put all your eggs in one basket!"
Happy Stamping!
Tina
