Today!

Hello!  Today ... is my birthday!  Woo Hoo!  (And my hubby's)!  So, you would think this would be a day I wouldn't have a post, but...  a few days ago, I was looking thru the drawers of stamp words and I saw this sentiment titled Today and thought, wow, I should make some kind of card with the stamp and post it on the blog on my birthday.  It is a very large stamp, so I went with a pocket card to hold it.  You know I like making  A-2 size cards the best, but when I added a punched border on each side of the sentiment, it would no longer fit into the A-2 size pocket, so I went with a 5 x 5 square and it worked perfectly.  Why would it matter on this card?  I am not sending it.  I made it for me to enjoy.  Well, and you!  So let's get to it!  Enjoy!

Paper - My Minds Eye Fine & Dandy Tickled Pink 6 x 6 pad, Cardstock White, Aqua
Stamps - Renaissance Art Stamp (I am not sure, but I doubt this company is still in business. but then again, I am sure the sentiment is clip art, so it might be out there as a stamp somewhere?)
Ink - Versafine Black

Other - Twine from The Twinery, Button
