A Flower Just For You!

For today, I have another new layout to show you. Yes, another sketch challenge for me. Here is the link to the blog where I found the challenge. http://www.prairiepaperandink.typepad.com/ And here is the sketch ...

There seem to be a lot of sketches out there with strips of paper either going horizontally or vertically. I have shown you both examples between today's card and yesterday's. I absolutely love the look. For today's card, I went with my favorite colors. You know how sometime you just need your comfort food, well, that is how I feel when I pick papers with "my" colors! If I look through my cases of papers, you will find quite a bit with either pinks or greens, but this hot pink and the lime are "it" for me!
I paper pieced her pants with the same paper as I used on the background of the card and her shirt is paper pieced with the same bright pink cardstock that I used on the card. Oh how I love to paper piece! And embellish with flowers and baubles ... it just doesn't get any better than that. O.K. I guess I have rambled enough for the day. Here is the recipe. See ya tomorrow!

Recipe:

Paper - Both scrapbook papers by Best Creation Inc., Cardstock White, Pink
Stamps - Girl by My Favorite Things Pure Innocence Line, Just for You sentiment by Rubber Stamp Tapestry
Ink - Versafine Black, Prismacolor Pencils, Gamsol
Die Cuts/Punches - Nestiblities Oval Petite Scallop and Oval Classic Solid
Other - Flowers by Prima, Baubles by Stamping Bella, White Pen by Ranger(to highlight on paper pieced top and bottom)

Happy Stamping!
Tina

I LOVE this card, Tina! What a wonderful combo. Love the paper piecing; so much fun and results are great! This is the cutest of little girl stamps and U made the most of it.

I have to agree about the color combo: very fitting for this time of year, too! And you've found a way to make the layout work really well with embellishments.
