Hello! I have been busy in my room this week working on more Halloween cards and my class samples! I realized that I have not done a card for the Sketch For You To Try for the month. Remember, this challenge is a year one, where you must complete a sketch for every month of the year. I have done all the months so far, so I don't want to stop now with only this month and two more to go! The sketch had a vertical rectangle panel, so I decided I would just stamp my cute witch again, as I really wanted to do another card with her anyway! Hence, #2 in the title of my post today! So, let's get to it. First I will show you my card. And then the sketch. Enjoy!
At first glance, I thought this sketch was kinda boring. But, after seeing it put together in a real card, I like it. It's definitely a go to sketch for when you need a simple one. What do you think?
Recipe:
Paper - Recollections paper pack, Cardstock White, Orange, Black
Stamps - Witch from Recollections set, Sentiment from Rubbernecker
Ink - Memento Black, Prismacolor Pencils, Gamsol, Copic for skin
Tools - Spellbinders Classic Scalloped Circles, Classic Circles, Martha Stewart border punch (don't know the name ... wrought iron? got it at Ross a while back ... bargain!)
Other - Boo Ribbon from old stash (sorry, can't remember who it is from), Baubles from Stamping Bella (only had 2 orange ones, but I kinda like the yellow in the middle!)
I will have two more cards to show you tomorrow ... Halloween, of course. And then the last one on Saturday for the share. See you tomorrow!
Happy Stamping!
Tina
