My Favorites from 2015! (Lots of photos!)

Hello!  I know that I didn't do as many posts on my blog this year, as in previous years.  There were 60 less posts in 2015 than in 2014.  I think I stopped doing the Sunday Words of Wisdom posts which would account for a lot of the 60.  Don't even know why I stopped, maybe I should start doing them again!  I looked back and in the last couple of years, I showed you 36 favorites.  So, I thought I bet I could go with less since I had less posts ... nope!  Once again, I picked 36 favorites to show you!  Let's get to it.  If you want to go to the original post, just click on the words underneath the photo, and it will take you there.  Enjoy!

Another Share of Creations Received!

Hello!  When I wrote my post this morning showing you cards and an ornament I had received from talented friends, I kept thinking I was leaving someone out ... and I did.  I went out to my shack and there on my desk was a gift I received from a friend and class taker.  Not only does she make cards, but she quills!  She made me this awesome "T" for Tina in a framed shadow box.  She also made three Christmas  package embellishments.   Of course, I am not using them on packages because they are too pretty to give away!  Enjoy!

Thanks Annette!

I have my post with all my favorites from 2015 all ready for you.  It is set to go live tomorrow morning at 9 a.m.

2015 Creations Unseen + Share of Creations Received!

Hello!  On Monday, I had 6 teeth extracted and I would be lying if I said that was easy, but I am so happy to report that I have no pain!  I have been taking ibuprofen for swelling and such but that is it.  I am one that in the past would not go to the dentist unless I had to. Of course, that is why 6 teeth had to be extracted.  I have often said I might die from decay in my teeth, well, I not going to now!  Yea!  Okay, enough about that, let's get to what this blog is supposed to be about!  Every card I make, I scan into the computer and they sit in one folder until I show them here and then I move it to my "2015" folder.  I found I had three or four that I haven't shown you, so I have those for you today.  Also, of the 14 Christmas cards I received this year (sad number), four were handmade, so I want to share those with you today also.  Plus, I have one handmade ornament that I got at the design team crop to show you too.  Let's do this ....enjoy!

The first one is the one that Donna and I made for the troop boxes that were sent in November to our soldiers who would not be home for Christmas ...

The next two cards are ones that I made because I was late on sending birthday cards! I think that was last year's resolution to send birthday cards on time ... obviously I failed, so they got belated ones, but at least that are cute, right?

Next, I have a gift item I made that is an easel card that holds calendar pages and when stood up in easel form, it has post it notes and a holder for the other calendar pages.  Unfortunately, I only have the photo of the front, but I cased my own design from 2012, so check out this post for other photos.

Now, let's get to the handmade cards and ornament I received from friends ...

Saturday's Sketch Share!

Hello!  Today's sketch share includes two more Christmas cards.  I will show you my card, Debbie's card, and the sketch we both used.  Enjoy!

My Card

Debbie's Card

The Sketch
I really liked this sketch.  Both cards are 3 1/2" wide which is the tall and skinny version, but I think this sketch would also work great for the wider A2 size card.  I love Debbie's nativity scene card, so pretty.  I want to note, I used the green glitter pen from Wink of Stella on my little elf.  I doubt it shows up in the photo.

I hope to be back in a day or two with a little show and tell of a couple of handmade cards I received.  And I also will be sharing my favorites of 2016 before the end of the year.

See you soon!
